Many mature singles are fond of bemoaning their status.They regard every other achievement in their lives as secondary. All their attention, prayers seems to be on the issue of marriage. Mind you, I am not against having good desires like marriage but it should not be the most important thing in the lives of single. Being single is a wonderful season of discovery of ones talent, ability,being equipped for greater tomorrow. It is not the season to waste precious time complaining, running up and down looking for spouses in every social gathering. Spend quality time getting more education, get a job or set up a business. Get closer to God, learn all you need to know of marriage. Adequate preparation is needed for a successful marriage. Know what you are good at and use your talent well, because you may not have much opportunity after marriage. Marriage comes with a lot of responsibilities, so use your time well as a single.
